Education and Employment Worker, ATLAS Scotland - Action for Training and Learning for Asylum Seekers
Description
Whilst waiting for a decision on their claim for refugee status, asylum seekers need information about the employment market and training opportunities to enable them to be ‘job ready’ should their claim be successful. There was therefore a need for provision of high quality advice, guidance, learning and skills opportunities for asylum seekers. With support from ATLAS, a worker was employed by the SRC for this purpose.
