Description

This programme has been engaging with members of hard to reach communities in education and training activities, developing confidence, skills levels and an understanding of the practical benefits of training and personal development.

The programme has focused on broad areas of craft and design, using a combination of practical application, theory and IT facilities to design and create a wide range of items with a view to creating a social enterprise or community venture.  Training has incorporated elements of researching, setting up, managing and developing a community venture.

BME groups, Jobseekers with low basic skills, Lone parents and people with care responsibilities, People from disadvantaged areas (top 10% most deprived wards), People with disabilities, Unemployed, Women
