Butterfly – Creating chances, Black Country Communities in the Lead

Description

The aim of the transnational partnership is to promote and develop new business ideas and solutions in the social economy to strengthen the integration chances of disadvantaged target groups in and through work in local communities.

The four DPs involved in this transnational partnership have been following these common strands:

  1. Launching new business solutions in the social economy (e.g. products, enterprises, activities) to strengthen the integration chances for disadvantaged target groups in and through work in the local community
  2. Improving public relations and marketing resources for these companies
  3. Exploring new financial systems and improving the skills of those managing these organisations and advising the target groups
  4. Developing processes to help secure, develop and strengthen the position of new operations in the social economy
  5. Analysing the necessary conditions and ingredients for sustainability when launching new operations
  6. Studying and monitoring the business plans of six new operations to be presented as six case studies in .pdf format on the internet, including recommendations for companies and regions
  7. Exploring and comparing the partners' financial systems and the legal frameworks.
