This project worked with individual women prisoners to enhance their skills, knowledge and self-confidence, thus increasing their employability. The focus was on remand prisoners who are likely to receive a short custodial sentence. The target group was female prison leavers aged 16-65, who had been unemployed for a significant period before being received into custody.
