This booklet is designed to be a useful resource for employers considering or already offering work experience placements. It aims to provide employers with a basic understanding of work experience and how it works, as well as offering practical advice on setting up structured programmes. Although specifically aimed at employers wishing to offer work experience placements to post 16 students, many issues are relevant to those employers offering placements to students in their last two years of compulsory schooling.
