Welcome to Equal-Works

Equal has been a European Social Fund initiative which operated from 2002 - 2007. The programme tackled discrimination and inequalities in the labour market, for those in work or seeking work and includes actions to help the integration of asylum seekers. Activity has been delivered through Development Partnerships (DPs) operating within one of 8 themes displayed in the left-hand navigation bar.

What is Equal-Works?
Equal-Works disseminates the experience and products of DPs. Each DP has a microsite providing an overview of its work and key messages and achievements, and links to all of its products. Click here for help with finding your way around the site.

Community Training Toolkit of Best Practice

This toolkit contains a variety of games that are designed to be fun while also raising awareness of the barriers and difficulties facing asylum seekers in adapting to new surroundings and trying to find work.
